Brand Identity and Naming
We created the new naming and brand identity for Woven Mill (Formerly Craft Gardens). We were tasked to develop a unique tone of voice and visual identity for their brand, to incorporate all aspects of the business.
After comprehensive research into the local area, we were able to develop an understanding into the industrial heritage of the site, which was an old flax mill, dating back to the early 1800’s. We met the team behind Crafty Gardens and discussed areas that resonated with the business, leading to a successful rebranding process. Alongside their inspiring heritage, we wanted to capture their distinct, inspiring passion for plants and gardening when creating their new identity.
Historic Influence and Modern Design
Following a successful naming process that formed the concept that is Woven Mill; we immediately moved into the development of logo design, tone of voice, visual direction, colour palette and initial brand guidelines. The new logo and graphic language is a marriage of modern hospitality, inspired by the industrial interiors and bloom-age on sale at Woven Mill. A mix of historic influence and modern design, the Woven Mill identity is a truthful and contemporary brand identity. Blending all aspects of their business, Woven Mill captures the attention of gardeners, plant enthusiasts and foodies in Ballymoney and beyond.
