In 2021, Applegreen Electric was established as a subsidiary of Applegreen Limited to focus exclusively on electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
Challenge / Opportunity
Applegreen Electric considers economic, environmental, and social responsibility an integral part of its corporate philosophy and understands the contribution they can make to a more sustainable future. Applegreen approached Kaizen Brand Evolution to develop a new brand identity for their global, innovative, electric charging stations - Applegreen Electric.
Applegreen Electric hold a strategy that aims to protect the natural environment, enhance the lives of employees and the people who utilise their products and services, and connect with the communities in which they operate. Including the important elements that represent Applegreen Electric, we created a modern, timeless identity that enhances the parent brand, yet firmly stands alone.
Applegreen are a much-loved company, aiding the journey of Irish commuters one location at a time. We wanted to capture the essence of the journey, whilst introducing the element of sustainability and corporate social responsibility through Applegreen Electric. The showstopping graphics, imagery and colour-scheme undoubtedly captures the essence of Applegreen Electric and everything they aspire to be. The mark is set lowercase with a bold, circular family. We introduced the bolt as a signal and icon that has mileage throughout the brand touch points. The neon palette marries with the electric and design of the charge stations.
